Good Points
Very, very cheap to run - it sips petrol. Great learner bike - lovely to ride. Looks like a bigger bike and it is relatively easy to get parts for. Lots more style than a scooter & sounds good as well.
Bad Points
Gutless - I'm sad to say but most are when they get old. My bike (which is maintained regularly) will only do 52 mph MAXIMUM but considering the age that's not too bad. Also, the battery always gets wet when left in the rain - you always need to take a cover with you and the chain wears out after about 10k miles.
General Comments
The Suzuki GN 125 is an excellent first bike for someone on a budget - it's built for cruising and is a real workhorse.
