Location, kids entertainment, rooms cleaned regularly.
There was a lack of interest from the staff at Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche reception, first the room was infested with ants and cockroaches so we asked to be moved. Next room was OK. Breakfast was basic. Water leaking under door from neighbouring room was not even looked at for about an hour. We had to contact reception three times before someone came up.
Make sure to totally check your room before unpacking, as there is a good chance you will be given a low standard room and will only get a better one if you ask to be moved. The resort itself is very good and quiet late at night. Great for kids. There are regular local buses to Puerto Del Carmen, so you can go to the more lively pubs and clubs there.
