In early September 2006, we ordered a Surat unit and glazed top. They arrived after 6 weeks, but the base had been packed upside down and was badly damaged. The delivery crew called through to customer services to order a replacement, and stated it would be 6 - 8 weeks. We asked for an evening or weekend delivery (which we were told wouldn't be a problem). After weeks of waiting and having Marks and Spencer Furniture try booking in mid-week morning deliveries, numerous telephone calls later we had a booking for the end of November on a Saturday between 12 and 4pm. At 3.30pm the delivery crew called to inform us they would not deliver, as they couldn't get up our street. I managed after more telephone calls and unanswered messages to get a delivery promised before Christmas, but I asked if they could ring me at work an hour before. The delivery was due between 2pm and 5pm. At 2.30pm I arrived home to an answering machine message from the delivery crew, stating they couldn't get me on the mobile and had cancelled the delivery AGAIN.

I am still waiting. Some of the staff try to help, but the delivery service they use is dire.
