No software needed
Can be used as external hard drive
Very long battery life (12 hours+)
Not trendy looking
Forgets Bass settings when switched off
Have had mine for several months now and so far no problems, in fact bought my girlfriend one as well. It is so easy to use. I not only store music on mine but also mpegs, avi, jpegs and various files for work eg word, excel etc. Most of the time I use it in the car where it sits between the front seats with a plug in transmitter so that I can listen to it through the car hifi system. As I also have it connected to a computer quite a bit of the time I have actually only charged it up twice, it charges very nicely from the usb connection which is great. (Trouble is I got so used to not having to charge it that when I went away for a week I forgot about needing a charger and couldn't work out why it stopped half way through the third day till I realised the battery had gone flat Doh!)
Although it is a bit on the large side it is not that heavy and I find it very comfortable wearing it on a belt (Samsonite do a great pouch which is almost an exact fit with room for cables and headphones).
Don't know why Argos stopped selling it, can only assume sales were not high enough due to trendy idiots spending more money on smaller memory systems cause they "look the part". Mugs!!!
