Massage Review

I have just had my first Massage treatment at a salon and I have to say I cannot believe I have never been before!

I received a £35 Pamper Package gift voucher for Body and Mind therapy centre in Mossley, Lancashire, as a Christmas present and booked myself in right away!

I was greeted by a really welcoming and friendly receptionist, who told me who my therapist for the day was and also enquired to which treatments I would be having (with a pamper package, the client is able to pick and choose their own treatments).

my treatments were going to be done by a man, at first I was a little apprehensive of this but after a 5 minute consolation with him I felt at ease. When you first go into your treatment room you are asked a series of questions and have to fill in a form, explaining any conditions you may have or if you take medication etc. As these treatments are carried out to help maintain health and wellbeing. You are instructed to undress from the waist up and lye comfortably on the bed, the therapist leaves the room while you do this so you are given time to become comfortable, they then ask if they are able to enter the room and your treatment begins.

the massage itself was amazing! I was unbelievably relaxed!! Using various techniques and pressures the whole of your back, neck shoulders and arms are covered. It's a truly relaxing experience and I felt brilliant afterwards, I will certainly be having this treatment again and would recommend others to try it!
