Belle Morte.'s Review of Tamora Pierce, The Song of the Lioness Quartet
6th Jun 2003
Overall Rating
- Value for money

Characters are well-rounded and life like.
Villians, very hateable.
Bad Points
There aren't enough books in the series, lol.
General Comments
Basically, this girl and her twin switch places- he to mageschool, she off to train as a page. The rest of the series is about her struggles first to keep up with the rest, and then to keep her secret as her body- and her talent for healing- developed. Also mixed in is her romances with the theif, George, and the Prince, Jonathan. The dead walk, magic corrupts, and the gods walk among men. I hope you have as much fun reading these books as I did.
