Good Points

It comes with everything for installation. IDE cable, sound cable, software and even a spare black front bezel. The price is dirty cheap. I bought it at Compusa for $7.99 after a $40 mail-in rebate. It is sold under Connect label SKU 340024. The LightScribe model was sold for the same price SKU 340022, but it was sold out. It has a short case, perfect for small computer chassis computers. It runs quiet and it is already set for RPC1.

Bad Points

Does not support bit-setting. Then again, most people don't know what it is, anyway.

General Comments

The package is well put together, good quality, pretty much drop in and play. The drive is set for RPC1 and I don't have to look for firmware to make it RPC1. Other drives I have in my computers were set for RPC2, I had to flash them with hacked firmware to make them RPC1.
