Good Points

Very light.
Holds 15 BBs in magazine, as well as the CO2 cartridge.
Relatively cheap, and more powerful than Gamo P-800.
I can get 150 shots per CO2 cartridge.
Magazine drops clear easily, and reloading is quick and easy.
Accuracy is good.

Bad Points

I have to load magazine from the top, as BBs get stuck in the bottom loading hole.
Trigger is hard to pull when trying to concentrate on accuracy on a long shot.

General Comments

This is my first ever CO2 powered air pistol. Within the first few days of buying it I have fired off 1000 lead BBs. I really love this gun, and couldn't hope for much more. It is more powerful than the P-800 which I also have, but doesn't really cost much more, and that extra cost is definitely worth it. I find this pistol shoots a little high, and I don't know if this can be adjusted for, but I am not worried by it. The box states 60 shots per CO2 cartridge, and I have read other's reviews stating they can get ~105 shots per CO2. I can get (at extreme) 165 shots per CO2 cartridge, and at 165 its still sending empty aluminium cans flying. Maybe this stated 60 shots means that the gun will do 60 shots at the stated 410 FPS? Or maybe that literally means that after shot number 60 the CO2 should all be gone and the BBs will dribble out of the end of the pistol? Can anyone answer this one for me, I'm very curious to know. I change them after shot number 150 (10 magazines). When the cartridge is taken out as this point there is a good pssst of gas left. My findings are that the first 15 shots are definitely more powerful, with very noticable cloud of gas leaving gun with each shot. At shot number 70 it is still breaking thin walled V bottles, and at shot 130 it stills shoots straight through unopened coke cans, and right up to when I usually change the CO2 cartridge at 150 it will very frequently penetrate into unopened spaghetti tin cans. I have not yet been able to break other thicker walled glass bottles.
Another thing of interest is the magazines. I know nothing about the mechanics of airguns, but I reckon the gas cylinder that lets off the single shot of gas is built into the top of the magazine. This must mean if the gas seals start leaking, or the cylinder becomes faulty, then its just simply a case of buying a new magazine, rather than a whole new pistol. Because of this (and I assume I'm right) I am going to get 2 spare magazines which I can use which will add to the fun of it too.
Overall this is an excellent air pistol, great value for money and I highly recommend it to all!

After exactly 3 weeks use, and 2,650 shots of working perfectly, the pistol mysteriously lost power.
It turns out the barrel has come loose inside the pistol. I didn't realise that with each shot as the trigger is being pulled, the barrel moves back inside the gun to load the next BB into the barrel, and to seat up to the gas seal on the magazine's gas valve. After firing it moves back forward again. From the outside the barrel is flush with the muzzle, but after mine lost power I noticed the barrel was sitting 5 to 10 mm back inside the gun.

I will send it back to gun shop tomorrow, and write another comment on the outcome. I am really a bit sad this has happened after less than a month. I hope this is not a sign of continuing problems with the Gamo PX-107 model.

Just over FIVE weeks after sending it back to distributor for warranty repairs, I am told it is on its way back! Thats pretty slow.
At this stage I am assuming they repaired it, but if it has a different serial number I'll add another comment to say it was replaced.

Don't know how you arrived at this viewpoint. I found this gun awful and have submitted my own review.

Adding to my above comments, after 6 weeks I received the original PX-107 back, repaired under warranty. I then took it out for a few sessions with my other pistols and fired 890 shots (with the PX-107), and it seems to be ok. But I haven't used it in months now, but I am planning on going out this week and giving it another 2000. As to the above comment, what is it you particularly disagree with me about? All I said is true, and I have CDs full of videos and photos of what this Gamo can do. It is the third cheapest CO2 power air pistol in NZ so thats why I give it good value for money, because if you want a similar pistol, but better quality, you'll pay twice as much and it will still function the same. $500 air pistols have crapped out for me just as quick as $150 ones. In my review I said the trigger was hard, and a Daisy 93 and Crosman 357 will beat the PX-107 on power any day. I still stand by mine being accurate, it hasn't got the best sights ever, but is consistent with where it hits. If given the choice again I'd still buy it.
