Comfort and ease of drive, fuel consumption, good visibility of dials, ease of use of controls, futuristic styling and the increase in boot space you can get by removing the spare wheel.
Central locking intermittently fails to unlock the boot and the rear doors intermittently lock of their own accord. Engine intermittently cuts out while idling, their is a knocking sound from the rear suspension, bad visibility from the central rear mirror and the lack of a rear wiper. There's also more road noise than I would have expected - it's noisier than my old Accord.
What's that saying... oh yeah - 'Honda's Do Not Go Wrong'... they do! This car isn't a patch on my previous Accord but it was good to see a motor manufacturer removing the spare wheel and using an aerosol repair outfit instead - after all motorcyclists have been using this method successfully for years.
Would I buy another Civic? Probably not?
