Faulty pixels
We bought this TV from our local Argos pre-Christmas for £229.99. After setting it up and tuning in, we realised there was a pixel missing, which immediately drew your eye to it whilst watching the TV. Went straight on to the website to see if they had anymore in stock, the nearest store with one in stock was an hour away, so we reserved one to pick up the next day. Returned home, set it all up - same problem, only this time, two pixels were missing - showing up bright green. Both sets also had a faint white glow at the top and bottom of the screen, similar to the effect of a speaker being too close to the screen. So we gave up and took it back for a refund. Funnily enough post-Christmas, the same TV is now £20 more expensive! So much for a sale! We wouldn't recommend this TV, it may be cheaper, but there's no point if it doesn't do the job.
