Great to teach kids shooting fundamentals with. Cheap to shoot.
Bad Points
Not much accuracy. Plastic levers and parts.
General Comments
When my dad came home from WW2 I was 5 1/2 years old. As soon as they became available, he bought me a Red Ryder BB gun. It was my most prized possession. I carried it everywhere I went around the neighborhood. Made a closeline sling so I could ride my bike and have it handy in case i met a sparrow that needed killing. Try that today and meet your local swat team.
Eventually I wore out that first one after 3 or 4 years of hard use. It would have lasted longer but kids don't think about oil.
It was replaced by another Daisy but this one had a scope. I was amazed to watch the BB's arc to the target through the scope. Those were the guns childhood memories were made of in my day.
