Staff change more often than your underwear.
Don't pay in full for your dress as you will be forced to remove it from the shop, even if your wedding is several months away, and take it back each time you require alterations. The lovely fabric zipped bag your dress arrives in will be exchanged for a cheap plastic popper bag, which is unsuitable for storing your dress, and you will have additional expense. This is despite the fact that you have just spent £1000.00 in their store.
Additional stress now added. I have to find somewhere to store my dress for seven months, and somebody to do the alterations. I have also had to e-mail the dress designer at Bride Be Lovely in Manchester to ask for advice on how best to store the dress to avoid any damage, as I will need to remove it from this cheap plastic bag. I will not be able to cook anything in case the smell is transferred to the fabric, which will mean another expense of cleaning. I have to try to do all this before Christmas?!
