General Comments
Where can i start? This phone has everything. It is top of the range and will be for some time. The price tag is often high but if you are willing to pay more for line rental then you can get it cheaper, even free!!! (phones4u) The camera is the best i have seen since the nokia 7650. The pictures when transferred to pc via serial station (supplied), infra red or bluetooth are suprisingly good quality. You get a free handsfree kit, 3 extra styli.

The phone is larger than average phones these days however this is not an average phone and is suprisingly small and light when you consider the features.

Battery life is very reasonable, i cant stop playing with mp3's, chess, the camera editor, character recognition (which by the way is unbelievably good), but the battery can easily last 2 days.

Built in speakerphone for handsfree or mp3 playback.

Software upgrades are unlimited . i have got msn messenger for it, infra red (so i can control my tv from my phone), a picture editing suite, and a recipie book. (look at the recommended url)

Fantastic phone if you want any info contact me.

i was umming and ahhhing as to whether to buy this phone, thinking that it looked to big, clumsy and cluttered.

Buy this phone, you won't be dissapointed

oh yeah if anyone finds where to get memory stick duo cheap could they let me know? ta

What phone/PDA did you use before you upgraded to the P800?

I got the phone free from phone4u on a high tarif and then changed to a lower tarif.

The memory stick operates just like an extra hard disk in PC, you can install apps, music, documents to the phone memory or memory stick.

It does synchronise quite well with outlook now that SE have updated their software and can be used as a PDA quite readily.

Once you get used to the jog dial control it is even easier to make calls than my nokia 7110.

There are loads of third party applications either free or relatively cheap on the net.

check out www.esato.com forums for more p800 stuff.

Hi, I intend to buy this product, however I need to know, whether memory is sufficient for regular use as PDA and phone. Also no where mention about Word and Excel software in this product. Memory stick used, will it be additional storage area or it is to be used and data backup.
Immediate response would be appreciated.
