Good Points

This car is well built, and I have had no problems. It cruses nicely at around 70/80. It looks ageless.

Bad Points

It has no power, it is sluggish and and you have to get a run up when facing hills. My only problem with the car is the lack of engine power.

General Comments

I bought this Audi around 2yrs ago and generally have been pleased with it. The only problems in that time have been a blown exhaust(£70), and a spring snaping in the drivers door lock (£5).

The car looks good, and is nice to drive. It is very smooth on the road. and my only problem is tractors can overtake you on the motorway! It has such little power for a heavey 2 litre car and so motorway driving is a strain on you and the car. The streering goes light at high speeds(90mph+) and the cars seems to lift at these speeds....so I don't like to travel like that.

I have an Audi 8.0 2.0i sports edition, 8v and mine has no problems getting up hills and is very quick. I had a race with an A4 and beat it quite easly. It is very good on fuel and handles just like a new car, ive owned it for about a year, and had a calibra 2.5 v6 before this and I think the Audi is better on preformace than the calibra and handles far better, mind you it is a full sports edition though, it looks great to.

I have just changed a 1989 Audi 1.8s for a 1994 2.0E the build quality is so much better on the new(er) car, but the last one had covered 240000 miles(i still got 117mph out of before isold it) but the 2.0 is very slugish in comparison. i intend to keep it for a year, use it as a family workhorse then change it for an old Coupe if i can find one good enough.
