Simple design. Great sound. This deck will make you want to go buy LP's. It can make a very high end Cartridge work hard.
Bad Points
For the price it does what its supposed to do. It runs a tad fast but nothing too bad unless you want to play guitar to your LP's then you might have to retune your ax.
General Comments
This is an excellent choice for anyone going into the Audoiphile end of Vinyl. Sure you can get better but for the realistic Vinyl lover its the one to get. Remember its all relative. If you buy this TT with a decent Cartridge you will love it. Even the much higher priced TT's are not for the dollar that much better. Highly recomended, by a Recording Engineer. I have A/B Lps with CD's with this TT and it stands up to the test.

Rega planar 3 died on me
I have a Rega planar 3 which is nearly 17 years ago. Got it serviced for the first time about a year ago. Can't remember exactly what I paid, something similar to the £60 figure you mention.
