Engine issues, noise
I have had the car for over 3 months now. I Bought it with 28,000 miles on the clock and was well chuffed because it looks mint and is very fast but it all went down hill from there! I Noticed that there were some strange rattling noises coming from the turbo - I took it to my local Vauxhall garage and they found that the turbo had blown. Then followed another 10 visits to repair more problems including the fuel injection system blowing, CD player burning out, both back light panels becoming faulty, a faulty exhaust management system, the indicator switch unit blew and many more. I have driven a courtesy car more than the car I bought! I now have it back and it sounds like a 1990 Ford Fiesta - Not good for my image! I am going to return the car to Vauxhall again in the hope that the engine will be written off and I can then get one that won't let me down! Some top advice for you - pay the extra £2000-£3000 for a Volkswagen and steer clear of Vauxhall diesels!
