Good Points

If your looking for a cheap fun start in mountain biking the mantra 1,2 or 3 are great. I got my mantra 2 for just £300 and it rides great apart from the tioga tyres are poor. Well priced good spec honest bikes.


Bad Points

Poor tyres, no hydraulic brakes (pay the extra for the mantra 3 upgrading to hydraulic could cost you over £150 i learnt the hard way) and the mantra is a bit on the heavy side weighing just over 16kg.


General Comments

Overall i love my bike the frame looks good and is just right for everything from riding in town to thrashing down a hill. Try and get a good deal the rrp for a mantra 2 is 400 and for a mantra 3 is 500 you could easily get £100 of each of these models. Don't bother with the mantra 1 when you can get a 2 for the rrp on the 1. The 2 has better forks tyres brakes handle bars and saddle and is a much cooler colour. This is one of saracens best bikes in my opinion.
