They don't like paying out.


General Comments

They try to make you work as hard as you can before they even think about paying. I made a simple claim for spectacles that I lost. I sent Churchill Home Insurance the cost of replacement from specsavers, and the original documents and cost. Now, they have sent me back another letter asking for a lost property number from the police, but this was never stated on the first request for docs!

It would be better to pay out a little more and get what you pay for!
