Power/speed and the simplicity in which it does it. Looks and the fact that not a lot of people think they are quick which results in a bit of fun!
CORNERS! Especially wet ones! Handling can only be described as dreadful.
I have the best of both worlds - a 98 GSI with a 93 redtop 150bhp - mint all round. Had to replace c.v boot and p.s pump in the 4 months I've owned it. Acceleration is good - it flies up to 70 and beyond. I'm very proud of my car because you don't see many around and its gleaming - It's lowered on coilovers which was a waste of money really as I'm still not confident of it on corners - it's pretty twitchy.
