Good Points

The only good thing I can say is that the Tour guide and staff made the most of a poor boat.

Bad Points

Numerous! The food choice and standard was very poor for a so called 'five diamond' luxury cruise. The boat was dated and other than the reception was very shabby. The carpets in the gangways were holed. The astro-turf that covered the upper deck was very worn with numerous tears showing the rusty deck underneath. The upper deck was also used to store various disused equipment. The staff did their best, however you cannot make a silk purse from a sow's ear! There was no rep on board to complain to. Out of 30 people in the Cosmos group I would suggest 100% spent at least two days in their cabin through sickness. The drinks were very expensive.

General Comments

The response from Cosmos following my letter of complaint is a standardised patronising letter. This was advertised as a luxury distant dreams cruise. If the group of people with us had not made the most of it and hadn't got a sense of humour, it could have been our worst nightmare. I will not be using Cosmos again.
