Looks, performance, quality, excitement, power!
Understeer, and front wheel traction in wet conditions. Poor turning circle (as expected on car of this type on 17"s). Road noise could be a problem for some depending on tyres. No heated front screen.
The Civic Type-R offers a great all round drive and is excellent fun as well as largely practical. This car would suit anyone looking for affordable motoring (resale value considered) as well as having a desirable performance car. Economy ranges roughly from the 200-300 miles per 50 litre fuel tank depending on your right foot! The Vtec engine has no reported major failures after nearly 20 years in production speaking volumes for design and build quality. Good quality tyres are essential on the Type-R when attempting to transfer your 200 horses to the road via the front wheels. I would recommend the bridgestone potenza RE050 (new compound to be featured on mk2 Type-R). I would also recommend waiting for a lower mileage a/c model if buying, any additional cost should return on resale.
There are more important things in life than material possessions... but they are nice aren't they???
You know what to do if you haven't already!!
