Good price, good quality for the range it's in. I previously had a Sony and this has surpassed my expectations. Excellent point and shoot results, good zoom, easy to use functions for different scenes, but you will probably get as good results with the automatic setting, except for indoor evening shots.
Bad Points
Was disappointed with the quality indoors, the automatic selection produces bad quality indoors. Select Party mode to force it to flash and the quality is very good then.
General Comments
The Nikon Coolpix 5200 is a great Camera, bought this about 18 months ago, I was particularly interested in buying a good value camera, that provides superb performance. This has delivered in bucket loads!! Easy to use, quick to turn on, SDRAM (and go for the high speed SDRAM for the Quick time MOV format) is cheap too. Movie quality is excellent too, I use the medium quality movie option and this produces superb small video clips, and will last for the amount of memory you have! The night shots are fantastic, as long as you can rest the camera on a tripod or a wall etc... amazing pictures. All in all a great purchase, I'm still using it today and it will meet my needs for many years to come!
