This film involves so much suspension, I think probably the most out of all action scenes I have ever seen. The scenes are all really entertaining. The characters are very cool with some that you relate to and don't want to die, for example the chef with the cool parrot.
Bad Points
The film is not scary. I think it's the immense power and speed of the shark that shock you because they can actually move that fast. The technology is also a bit dated and sometimes the sharks look a bit unreal, but this does not spoil the film.
General Comments
When Deep Blue Sea started, the opening scene gave me the impression the film was just going to be another one of those films that are pointless. I was so wrong. I decided to carry on watching it and by the middle of it I was so involved, on the edge of my seat and entertained that I couldn't believe it. I have watched this film so many times. The scene where they are in the room with the massive glass window and the shark rams into it and the glass cracks to open the whole of the ocean into the room they are in involves so much suspense it is unbelievalbe. I suppose the idea of the film is a little stupid, sharks rarely attack humans, but very intellectual sharks? Anyway, the characters are really cool, some of them you so don't want to die, like the funny chef that's really entertaining and funny which the film needs.
