Good Points

Clear screen, compact


Bad Points

Short battery life, cheaply made, buttons fall off, hard to get in touch with advent, gets really hot when using it and the casing scratches easily. Trips fuse in my house when using it plugged into the mains. I have taken it back to PC World three times within its guarantee and every time they have done nothing, said they could not find a fault and that they could not fix the buttons as it is accidental damage - I was advised to buy a £10 mouse as it would cost £120 just to call them out to fix mouse buttons.


General Comments

The Advent 7081 Laptop isn't good value for money - do not buy from PC world they are very helpful when selling goods but have no time for you when your having problems with them and they will find any excuse not to fix the problem. I can't even use my laptop now even though it's still within its warranty as they refuse to fix the mouse buttons.
