The price was cheap.

The departure of the Oasis Hong Kong flight was delayed by 6 hours, and passengers were made to wait on the aircraft during this time. The cabin was shoddy, and many of the seats didn't recline, had broken headrests, lights or in-flight entertainment. This was a night flight, and many of the cabin lights were broken and couldn't be dimmed; therefore passengers couldn't sleep in the bright lights. They ran out of meals on-board. The temperature couldn't be adjusted, so passengers had to endure a sauna.
