Quick off the mark. Handles well. Front wheel drive. Looks fast standing still. You can get 4 adults in for short journeys. Boot big enough to hold a weeks shopping or 2 suitcases for holidays. Trouble free engine burns no oil.
Bad Points
Poor paint finish. Big doors make parking tricky. Poor headlights. Fuel consumption.
General Comments
The Mitsubishi FTO is a fantastic little car for the money! I use mine every day and mostly with four up! My trips to work are only a few miles so it does about 20mpg. On longer trips it does about 30mpg - my overall figure is 23.4 mpg. When I can I use the Tiptronic for some racy fun but around town I use auto. Shame it's so old - the slightest bump and they will try and write it off. I love my FTO it must be the most underrated car around.
