General Comments

I bought the Mordaunt Short 906 loudspeakers, 909 Sub, 905c Center and 903-S Rear speakers. I had B&W 603's and 601's for about 4 years and was looking for a change and to also get a full surround system (center and sub). Some say you don't need a Sub with the B&W 603's but I like the added bass when watching movies. I loved the B&W's but they require a lot of juice and sound poor a low levels. If I have people over I want to have the music on a lower volume but I could get better sound out of my ghetto blaster. Sure when you turn them up they are amazing.

The Mordaunts sleek design looks fantastic. They are much smaller than the B&W's but the sound they deliver is incredible, even at low volume. I cant say enough positive things about these speakers. I have parties often and people cant believe the sound they deliver. I listen to all kinds of rock, techno, electro, classical, and jazz (2 channel + sub) All I can say is WOW. I know B&W's are great but I am still blown away how awesome these sound. I highly recommend these speakers for 2 channel and surround sound. 3 of my friends have already bought these speakers after listening to my system....they didn't buy the B&W's

I am running these with a Pioneer Elite DVD DV-45A and Rotel RSX-972 Amp.
