Good Points

Never missed a beat (even the battery at 7 years old), as easy to ride through the city as to keep up with 600 sports bikes. It's a modern rd350. 16 inch front wheel gives it character; 17 inch wheel makes it more novice friendly.


Bad Points

Suspension limits outright speed, it's a bit soft, tank range and that's it!


General Comments

Bought it new to go with my rgv 250 and to use to commute 50 miles a day for which it's perfect, docile in town, fun on A roads and fast on B roads. A bit thirstier than I hoped but I do spank it fairly. Its good on tyres and chains, uses no oil although it's had fork seals and likes new air filters.
I've had other bikes since the hornet (Daytona 955, gsxr 750) but they always get sold at the end of the year because all I really need is the hornet.
