Good Points

No such thing as HKS edition! HKS do updated parts for GTIR.

GTIR = Quicker than most cars on the road.
For not a great deal of cash in comparison to a super car you can embarrass all 'super cars'!!!
If you spend <£30k you'll easily whip a £100,000+ Enzo or Carrera GT...Etc... 0-60 in less than 4 secs
A lot of today's younger generation don't have a clue what it is and think their golf gti or clio 182 might stand a chance racing off the lights, no where near :) ha-ha!

Bad Points

It's basically a Nissan sunny with a rocket ship engine!
Hardly the best looking car.
They are all really old now so they will break!
Expect an engine rebuild one day to preserve its exciting life.
Mine has broke a few times but I will keep it for ever.

General Comments

Fast as factory standard car! 0-60, 5.5sec. Once you break the 5 second 0-60 barrier (which is easy with slight tuning) expect to break something expensive. Once an engine rebuild has been done expect 50,000+ miles of fun. I'd advise staying close to standard performance.
Insurance is huge! Group 20!
Petrol, I'm doing about 170 miles per tank! ~17 miles per gallon!
