I bought this TV over 4 years ago and have used it with Direct TV, Dish Network, Comcast, Surround Sound Receiver (it lets you use it's 4 woofers and 2 tweeters as a full up center speaker, DVD players, and VCR players, I'm now using it as a full up Home Theatre HDTV. I love the picture the only thing better is a true HDTV 1080i of the newer variety with a true 1080i signal piped in. This TV handles the current mish mash of available video and DVD's with great flexability and a super picture. It is five years old and still compares favorably to the new stuff. I paid $2600 for it 4.5 to 5 years ago and am still awed by it's picture.
It's old technology and should be priced accordingly. Has no HDMI interface only one component IN, the rest composite or S. Needs a clean signal or it will have a slight squiggly line like Bob notes, either from unsheilded speaker line, bad signal or cable.
I have been very happy with this TV for 4 to 5 years and will keep it for another 4 to 5 years or more.
