Overall Rating
- Value for money

Full wood and metal design....no plastic parts.
Powerful output at 480fps+ with green gas.
Almost identical to real steel.
Bad Points
A little too expensive, but it is excellent quality
General Comments
The Tanaka Mauser Karabiner 98k airsoft rifle is an excellent all round rifle. But with its slow rate of fire, it is best kept for the sniper role. It would be foolish for an airsofter to run into a group of opponents with aegs with this rifle, as the bolt must be cocked for every shot.
This model only holds 10 rounds, but this should be more than enough to catch people in a skirmish; if you are the sniper that is. If you are thinking about skirmishing this rifle, then I suggest you buy 1 or 2 extra magazines, as you can forget how many shots you have fired off trying to catch the idiot who is running towards you with a Tokyo Marui MP5.
You can get around 3 mags worth of ammunition (30 rounds) out of 1 gas fill, which isn't too bad; just make sure you take a bottle of gas with you on your adventures :)
Overall, this is an excellent example of a WW2 rifle that I am proud to own; and would recommend to the more serious collector/sniper out there. It is not for people who prefer the more modern load-out. 9/10.
