Daphne du Maurier's classic novel Rebecca which was made into a great Hitchcock movie, starring Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.
The story is about a woman (Joan Fontaine) who meets recently widowed Maxim de Winter (Laurence Olivier). They marry and she moves to Manderley, where the memories of his first wife live on, mainly through the housekeeper, Mrs Danvers, making life for the second Mrs de Winter very difficult.
A classic movie that can be watched over and over again.
