General Comments

Out of all the vacuums I have owned over the years (and I have owned many) this Dyson DC14 for All Floors is by far THE BEST one yet. Set up was very easy, everything just clicked in place and it took me just a couple of minutes to get it going. The best part? The suction without a doubt. It has the strongest suction I have ever encountered with any of the vacuums I have owned. I easily picked up 2 canisters full of dirt, dust, lint and human hair. I do not have any pets so I opted for the "All Floors" model without all the extra attachments. Emptying the canister is very easy with just the pull of a trigger, allowing the bottom to drop out to dispose of the debris.

I also liked the telescopic wand tool. It is about 17ft long and very useful if you have stairs, as you don't have to lug the vacuum up and down to vacuum them. It also has an extra long power cord so you don't have to keep unplugging and replugging in a different outlet every time you vacuum a different area.

I have owned this vacuum for 6 months and I am still very impressed by it. It's easy to like something when it is new but this vacuum has made vacuuming fun for me. I also noticed that my allergies have decreased dramatically ever since using it. I used to have a runny nose all the time and now it's just gone! I simply love this vacuum! And the best part? It never lost suction. Yes, believe the hype (if you want to call it that). What makes it so special is you can take the vacuum apart and do your own cleaning and maintenance. It's very simple to do and just as simple to put back. I have just done my 6 month filter washing and I was quite surprised that it didn't have much dust in it. I could have gone a few more months before washing it.

Overall this is a great vacuum and it is the best one I have owned so far. I would not hesitate to get another Dyson should anything happen to the one I already own.
