Multi-player is not too good
In general, it is a very good game. It has a wonderful storyline which was written by the actual story writers for the actual Simpson's. You get to play as Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge and Apu with their actual voices from the voice actors who play them on the tv show.
There are lots of wacky things to do in the game, like collect coins and find hidden collectible cards that have objects on them from Simpson's episodes. There are also races you can enter into besides doing the actual missions - there are also hidden cars you can find in each level.
Every level has 10 missions and in each level you change your characters point of view. You go from Homer, to Bart, to Lisa, to Marge, to Apu, back to Bart and finally ending on Homer. The game takes place on Oct. 25 and ends on Oct. 31 so when you play as homer again it will be Halloween and the town is all dressed up for it.
The only down side is that the multi-player is not so good, so don't buy it for the multi-player. What happens in multi-player is that up to 4 players can play against each other in a slot car type game - your view point is a ceiling-mounted camera that all the players play off of and you steer your car around the track - it really is quite lame but the single player mode more than makes up for it.
This is a wonderful game for all Simpson's lovers - Simpsons: hit & run is a must have but you'd better have seen a few Simpsons episodes first otherwise you won't get too many of the jokes or understand the game overall. If you know a thing or two about the Simpsons it will be a hilarious game and fun for all ages; in fact, I'm still not done finding all the hidden things in some of the levels and I've had this game for about 2 years now!
