Rooms OK, staff Good, lovely massage.
Bad Points
No air-conditioning in the hotel itself, when you go down to breakfast there are insects in between the napkins and flies all over.
Your breakfast, when you go down to dinner you get bitten by insects.
General Comments
The hotel should not be a 4 star hotel. How people can say they go back year after year is beyond me, they must be very sad people and never been or seen anywhere else. I have travelled with First Choice before, they have all been excellent. This hotel should be down graded to maybe a 2 star. I know its a third World country, I do understand but put some airconditioning in there and then it could be a 5 star.

I am one of these people who return year after year - in fact twice a year. I have stayed in 3 other hotels in the Gambia and traveled all over the world and this is by far the best one. It may need a touch of paint and I don't think its the hotels fault there are flies about but the people and atmosphere make it the best around. And there is air conditioning in the hotel - look at the ceiling at you will see either fans or air conditioning units.
