Good Points

The only good points this vehicle has are the amount of space in the cabin and boot area.

Bad Points

Where do I start
Windscreen washer pump has been replaced six times (that's right six times)
Brake calipers twice (This one beats me as the Citroen dealer tells me they are made of alloy but still they are corroded)
Airbag warning lights come and go (I look forward to seeing if they work!)
The window at boot has been replaced twice as the switch that lets you open it has failed
Stereo has a mind of its own (select Radio 1 and I get Radio 4 even although it says Radio 1 on display) - I could go on and on here but I won't.

General Comments

Stay well clear of Citroen, I'm stuck with this one as it is a company car, poor me!

C5 02 model, on 66k Brake hose split on an emergency stop , dealer now advises me that Rear brake calipers need replacing; and heard that this is a common little job in dealers; not cheap, trying to get Citroen to pay for this; need some more brake sufferers to back me up.

My rear calipers were first replaced at 24k, and then at 62.5k. Citroen covered the first under their warranty scheme, the second claim they paid for the parts, and my company had to cover the labour. Another point to add to this car is that the rear off side door locks solid every now and again, and refuses to open. NASTY CAR!!!

The latest problem to arise from this truly majestic piece of junk... Car tells you washer fluid needs topped up, so off I pop to the garage forecourt to top it up, and as I pour water into the reservoir. I watch in utter disbelief as it pours straight back out and all over the ground!!! Watch this space, as any other problems that arise with this beast, I will keep you all posted.
