I LOVE my tassimo! I can have latte, espresso, tea and many more drinks whenever I want with no hassle. The good thing with this machine is that you can choose the strength of coffee by overriding the automatic blending so you can have it as strong or as weak as you like. There are no messy grounds to throw away, just one neat pod. I thought at first it would be just another of those machines you buy like the Senso which ends up languishing in a dusty box somewhere but it has grown to be indispensable almost.
Draw backs are that I wish we had the same variety of drinks as the French and American do but their discs do NOT work in UK machines.
In hard water areas the machines need cleaning more frequently because if scale builds up it can appear to leak water - a quick run through with a cleaning disc and washing under warm water does solve this problem - easy job.
The only place to buy some discs i.e latte and spearmint and green tea is online.
The Braun Tassimo is a good, stylish, innovative machine - I have joint problems and this is so much easier than using a kettle.
