These are the best boots I have ever owned by a mile.
They fit nice and snug and are so comfy I could wear them out on the town!!
Since wearing them weekly I found that my touch, control and passes have improved.
They are made from tough durable leather, none of this plastic or fabric rubbish so you know they will last a good while.
To cut a long story short - I love these boots!! Well done Nike!!
Price tag.
White boots get muddy and become harder and harder to clean - but that's my fault for buying them in white!!!
I have a fairly wide foot so I found that my old soft ground Adidas boots were a bit restrictive and gave me cramp in my feet unless I left them really loose. I bought the Nike Legend firm ground boots which have moulded studs and I haven't slipped over once (aka made myself look like a prat!). I used to get muscle injuries when wearing the Adidas blades. I was out for months with poor hamstrings and pulled thighs. Medical professionals told me this was due to the shape of the blades and the fact that they aren't placed in the sole straight so they pull your feet (and thus leg) muscles in all different directions.
Nike's Legend boots aren't the lightest in the world but they are pretty god damn light. When I first started playing in them I think the boots actually made a difference to my pace! Something which I previously thought was a useless gimmick for those ultra lightweight boots.
