The factory modified MK2 Cavalier Convertible may be 20 years old but it is now turning into a classic. There's plenty of room as it is based on a 2 door MK2 Cavalier with enough room for 4 adults.
The engine has got plenty of poke and the simple mechanical parts are easy to fix.
They are getting old so they rusting at an alarming rate. Check suspension points because if that's gone it's fit for scrap. And check the wheel arches because they are rust traps.
Engine should sound sweet and not tap.
The convertible Vauxhall Cavalier MK2 1.8 is a brilliant car of it's time with classic looks that still cut it in the style department.
Because it's a Vauxhall it won't cost loads to repair.
