This magazine has some very good projects, which are very well detailed for the novice, as well as old pro's.
Able to subscribe to a download of the magazine for a lot less than annual subscription.
Download subscription is in dollars - $15.99
For anybody wanting to start a hobby in electronics, I would highly recommend the Everyday Practical Electronics magazine. It offers lots of projects, and it also has teach-in course's. These courses are designed to teach you about electronics, and there is an examination at the end of the course.
