General Comments

This truly is a fantastic game! The original was good, but this has ironed out the little problems, and the Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II PC game has really elevated itself amongst the best RTS games. The missions are brilliantly done, featuring all the characters from the book and film. I love the War of the Ring campaign map! The graphics look great, and you can create your own customisable hero which is fun.

All in all, this is a top quality game! Thoroughly recommended.

    I had the first Lord of the Rings PC game, and I really enjoyed it, apart from the rather limited base building, which detracted from the game in my opinion. I much prefer the free form Command and Conquer style of play. Does the new Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II game keep this feature, or have they revamped that as well?
