An excellent game! Don't worry if you're not a fan of Games Workshop stuff, as this game is right up there with the best. The graphics are brilliant! You can zoom right in on individual units and they still look great. The Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War PC game is highly playable. There are lots of skirmish maps, so lots of replay value. Most units are customisable, which is fairly unique among the RTS genre. It's a definite contender for the best RTS game out there.
I would suggest buying the standalone expansion Dark Crusade, as it has some great new additions, and its Medieval Total War style strategy map is great. Top quality.
