We had scheduled a vacation in St Lucia and booked through Air Jamaica Vacations. When we got to the AJ terminal in Houston, we were told our flight was cancelled, it wasn't, the crew never showed up! AJ said they were re-routing us to Miami then to Barbados overnight and then to St. Lucia. This caused us to lose a day and a half of our vacation. On the return flight, from St Lucia to Montego to Houston, the flight was delayed in Montego Bay for several hours, which caused us to be stuck overnight in Houston, this overnight caused us to lose a day of work.
We will never fly Air Jamaica again, they offer no customer service and no reasons for cancellations / delays. And what did Air Jamaica Vacations do for us when we complained? They gave us two $100 vouchers, good toward another flight! Talk about chutzpah! We think AJ is the worst airline we have encountered; they definitely spoiled what should have been a wonderful vacation.
