1) can get it for two hundred quid now
2) it is forgiving
3) it'll out-hit anything else you can lay your hands on
1) stocks are getting low
2) the XR-05 could possibly hit longer
3) I now have to buy a lot more clubs to match the quality of this one....
ok, it's big. both head size and distance acheived - even mis-hits can go 200 yards. It is out-distancing the Callaway C4 Big Bertha, the Ping TiSI and the Wilson Deep Red II Distance I tested by some ten yards and costs less than all of them if you shop around. It's forgiving without being too much like the callaway "you just move the club and it'll do it all for you" feeling, and as long as you let the club swing, rather than try to muscle it, you'll scare yourself with the distance you get. By one, in Fact, buy two - that way you can keep one especially for spanking the hell out of your friends at the driving range and one for the course :-)
