Walther PPK/S .177 cal. CO2 BB gun... Stands for headache!
I had a softair gun and a spring piston BB gun, and it was time for something new! Like many, I had been eyeing the PPK at Wal-Mart for some time, and it seemed to be the perfect gun.... CO2, James Bonds signature gun, Recoil, nice looks, small and compact, and last but not least, made by Crosman! I bought it, took it home, opened it up and Lock Load! Wow kick back is amazing, shoots as fast as I can pull the trigger, great power, and I found the accuracy to be sufficient, so I was quite happy! It's all down hill from here... First off I found out that Crosman (which is the company who makes the Walther PPK) brand CO2 cartridges are too big to fit comfortably in the cartridge bay. You have to shove them in really hard, and I need a screwdriver to take them out. However, when using Copperhead (which on the box says "by Crosman") brand CO2 cartridges, they fit in perfectly. And no mater what Brand CO2 you use when you tighten the cartridge, the bottom of it pushes slightly out, making the Grip/CO2 cover bulge out.
The slide will sometimes lock like it's out of rounds when it's not. Sometimes when I shoot the gun it shoots with force, then limp, then with force again. Part #10 (the gold, hollow, cylinder like screw thing) keeps coming loose and making the magazine not fit properly.
I do not regret buying it, and I am glad to have it in my collection. I would not recommend buying it if you want a good shooting bb gun. However, if you like Walthers or are down with Bond, go get it. It will shoot, and you will have a lot of fun (just remember to expect a very bumpy road).
