General Comments

Overall, it's a great gun. I've put about 3,000 rounds through it in my backyard, and as long as I compensate for the hop-up I can hit from about 20 yards away; then the wind starts to affect the accuracy. I presume that if you were shooting inside you could shoot for a very long distance. I have two Crosman Walther P99 Spring pistols; both my brother and I each have one. On both of them you have to aim about a foot below where you want to hit on the target from 15 yards. It's not practical for airsoft wars, but when you get past compensating, it's in the top five of the most accurate guns in my collection. To be honest, I'm both happy and disappointed with this product. I had high expectations when I bought it, and the hop up ruined it for me. Mine is currently broken, but after 3,000 rounds through a $20 springer that's to be expected. So it lasted for a very long time; outliving most of my airsoft guns.

I agree with you about all those points very fun to shoot etc. If the Hop up seems to be to much then you have to try using .2g or .25g bbs. This is what the hop up is set for

I always use .2, I never use .25 though because I have to buy them online since they aren't sold locally, so it isn't practical for me. I might just buy a pack for this gun. It really is a good little gun though, it just needs to be designed in a more user-friendly way.

Okay, the gun is broken so here's what I did- I took the gun, messed it up a little so that the slide came off, took off the barrel, replaced the slide, gave it to my brother's and now it's a perfect replica of a Walther P99 for them to play with. The hard part is putting the insides back together right. The springs are the hardest part. If you put it back together right then the slide'll still work and that's pretty cool.

Mine got jammed so I took out the clip. I took a screwdriver and just moved it around, until finally the bb popped out, and now it works just fine!

My Crosman Walther P99 Spring Pistol was just dead. It wouldn't load very well, which I think was due to excessive use. The main part in the gun had a huge plastic split in it, and the magazine chamber was messed up as well. I couldn't fix it in a cost effective way, so I disassembled it. It's now my little brother's favorite non-firing toy gun, so at least someones getting some good use out of it.

That is a really good idea. I'll keep that in mind if mine ever breaks. One of my friends is obsessed with it for some reason (probably the James Bond aspect), so I might give it to him to put in his room. Good idea!
