General Comments

I've had this phone for over a year now. I was looking for a phone back then and I came across this one. It was to be my third mobile phone, and I really liked the look of it, and also the fact that it was a sliding phone. Also, it was at a very nice price.

I always check reviews for phones, and the Samsung E350 always had pretty good reviews.

The camera is very good, and the flash is also very bright, which is excellent in situations when there is little light. I really like the camera, and it isn't worth getting a digital camera because this is as good as. It has adequate zoom and a change to lighting on it.

The amount of memory in this little phone is amazing! At one point I had 200 pictures and more on my phone, and I still had more room on it. The memory is very impressive, and one of my favourite features.

Also, the fact that the screens resolution is really nice. The colours are simply amazing for such a little phone.

However; There is no bluetooth on this phone. Yes, we have infrared, but no bluetooth. Unless you have an infrared port on your laptop or PC, then you have no resource for putting music onto your phone, and I'm a very musical person, so this is important to me. Also, I can't put photo's from my phone to my laptop. This was a disadvantage also. The only way I could get music onto the phone was by using infrared from someone else's phone. However, I had the problem that hardly anyone had music I liked on they're phones, and then even if they did, infrared is slow. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to transfer a music file, but it's very quick for photos. I like the infrared for the photo's, but not for the music.

The battery life is very low. I text a lot and take photo's almost every day. Therefore, I'm a heavy user of my phone. I end up having to charge it every two days if I'm lucky.

Also, the appearance is often ruined as this phone is prone to scratching and breaking.

I would have recommended this phone maybe last year, but not this year. It is dated now, especially with the lack of bluetooth.
