General Comments

I first encountered this vodka while I was a student in Krakow. A Swedish student introduced it to the group with apple juice as a mixer. I shortly changed to water to better enjoy the real flavor of Zubrowka Bison Vodka. It is inexpensive and delicious. I wish, now that I'm back in California, that I could get the real thing.

Zubrowka Bison Vodka sounds really nice I have never seen it before but I must look out for it. Could you tell me what USFDA means though?

USDFDA means United States Department of Food and Drug Administration. Basically, this means everything entering, and often those things leaving a third country have to undergo a review of this agency. The USDA determined that Mexican liquors, with a worm in it (Mezcal) was Okay. Vodka, with a bit of grass was not acceptable. You decide upon where the USDA stands. I don't know. All I know is that an inoffensive vodka is restricted, and a Mexican drink with a WORM in it is allowed free entry. Sounds like racism to me.

Wow those guys on the other side of the Atlantic need to sort out their prioritys when it comes to letting food stocks in. I agree is seems quite harsh however are you sure that the grass is grass and not in the narcotic sense.

Thanks for the meaning of USFDA, cause of you I am now a little wiser.

    Happy drinking!
