It looks really nice
Good sound
Nice picture quality
Long battery life if you keep it at 20 instead of 40 volume when listening to it
Bad Points
I bought the iRiver H10 at the end of August. I had it for 2 weeks and thought it was the best thing ever invented. Then one night I went to add more songs, and it wouldn't allow me to. I thought I would leave it until the following day and try again, so I turned it on the next day and all 400 songs had somehow erased themselves. I rang the shop and explained what had happened, and I was told to take it back. I took it back and was told that there was a problem with it (the sales assistant checked it on a laptop in the shop), and I was handed a brand new one I went home and put all my songs on it gradually, and everything appeared fine. Then, a few nights ago, I tried to add some songs and it wouldn't load them on, so I left it and tried again tonight, and guess what? I am now minus the 1003 songs that have since gone on the player. It's supposed to be able to hold 3000. I've tried reloading the songs that have been erased and it won't work.
General Comments
The sound on the iRiver H10 MP3 player is brilliant, the batteries are fairly good and the screen looks really clear. It was value for money at the time (€150), but looking back, this is now the second one broken, and a lot of time spent transferring songs on to it. I guess I will be heading to the shops tomorrow, but this time I will try another brand.
