Very fast car, great fun to drive, good power to £ ratio! Relatively good handling but tends to understeer unless going dangerously fast! Relatively easily tunable but be carefull you dont melt the pistons.
Breaks down every other week! Gearbox is slow to shift (wrc driver says so!) Thirsty on petrol, mine is 300bhp and does 18miles per gallon, on a run! gets really hot when thrashed, intercooler is in a stupid place (above hot engine) Engine needs to be removed to perform most maintenence tasks i,e clutch. very expensive on labour to maintain unless you can do the work yourself. dont get me wrong i love the car, when its working!
The pulsar is a nice hot hatch, it very quick and handles well also! for the money spent its well worth getting one, the only problem is, unfortunately there are just as many cons as there are pros! They just keep going wrong! read on for a 100% honest appraisal of the NIssan Gti-R
